Oh, Aurora, how could you do this to us?
How we once own a home we live and smile.
How we once have good lives and some times to fuss.
And now you throw us out of this homely mile.
We have been planning a better place to roam,
To expand our family with more spaces,
Now you have evict us from our home sweet home,
As we reluctantly move with long faces.
Like a mosquito, you feed out more money,
Out of the pockets of my proud father,
It was more than you required us, honey,
And now you've become a heartless bother.
A good friend is nothing like you, Aurora,
You were first great until you feed away,
Your incessant greed made a scar, Aurora,
You've lost your trust and good image that way!
Your name will be remembered in different ways,
If that name comes back, I won't think of you...
I know you are no person by your dark ways,
Good thing we dispersed and will be far, too!
Living in a small nowhere-else we sure are,
But our lives are not completely kaput,
Hope will prevail and we'll live somewhere else far,
Somewhere out there, we'll live in that great hut!
So long to you forever, Aurora, dear,
I shall speak to you no more as we stroll,
We're now happy moving on somewhere there.
As our hearts to there will forever stroll...

Author's Short Note:
Inspired from a troubled period me and my family had been through on February or March 2011 when our bank has robbed us out clean. I was depressed that we were going to lose our house, but then I became a bit adventurous and optmistic as if we're going into a new chapter of our lives. Yet at the same time, I despise those bankers of Aurora who had made us move out against our will. That's what made me think of writing this poem, referring to that name as if it was a person. I know this is just our own business, but I can't help but to write this down in a form of poetic art. Hope you all enjoy this.
