"The G Word"
Back in April 24th, it was the 100th anniversary of the infamous Armenian Genocide back in 1915 during WWI when lots of Armenian community leaders of Istanbul were deported and sadly executed under the Ottoman Empire. Ever since then, a lot of Armenians never like the Turks for this kind of deed. But Turkey insists that it was for a matter of war and think Armenians are the reasons. Unfortunately, some folks outside of Turkey disagreed. Turkey never wants anyone, not even the heads of the other countries to point it out as a "GENOCIDE". So far, back in April, Pope Francis of Italy claimed it that, and the head of Austria (which was the former ally of the Ottoman Empire) even claimed it that. Sadly, our so-called fine president didn't bother to claim it.
I started this cartoon since April 24th, but I didn't get a chance to finish, due to my fickle mind of drawing other things. But I manage to have the hunch to finish this.
Because of all this, it made me think of a Turkey fellow in a turban unhappy about someone thinking about mentioning....the "G" word. As for his shadow, it's a no-brainer.
This does not mean I hate the Turks. I am just shocked from the denial and the stubbornness of this. But I would think the government can be the problem. But even if my thinking is mostly (and obviously) American, just note that this is a matter of what to believe.

All Turks can NOT be blamed for the whole massacres.The fault is belongs to Commite of Union and Progress with his racist policies I even hate them so much for this they caused an empire to collapse with dethroning Abdul Hamid II (He gave ministry of Treasury to an armenian)
Regarding the genocide claims of the Armenians, Bruce Fein said the White House studied the issue in 1981 - during Reagan Administration, and the claims were found out as groundless. The Ottoman Empire paid special attention to the minorities, Fein said. The truth cannot be forgotten. Minorities had religious freedom and every vital provision. During the WWI the Armenian terror organizations in associate with French and Russian militants have murdered over 2 million Ottoman citizens, while loss of the Armenians made up about 500 000, and it is a proved historical fact.
At his words, the American Armenians obtain colossal profit from their false genocide claims. Armenians are against opening of archives as they dont want to lose the obtained money. The truth will come to light as the archives are open, he underlined.
