Surrealists

After looking back on “Destino” [2002 / 2003] (by both Walt Disney and Salvador Dali themselves), it brings my artistic yet surrealistic side back. Still takes my breath away, this masterpiece for an animated painting makes me want to draw more things like this. I was thinking like maybe Rita and or Ruby went to this kind of world as they want to know the meaning of surrealism. Like what significance does surrealism do? As I remember, it reflects how you dream the world you want and the matters of reflection of yourself through symbolisms in surreal paintings. I might plan a possible surreal character…

And so today, I have the courage to create another story which features a surrealistic adventure of Rita the tree chopping jackalope and Ruby the Rubberado. For starters, they happen to have no clue what surrealism is and what is so significant about it. That is why they are going into a dreamland where everything is different yet unusual.
