Acapulco Beach, the Rivera of Mexico...

Those were the words of the one and only Pachito Pistoles, one of the 3 Caballeros. A very energetic yet red rooster he is, he still has his famous sombrero, his vest, and of course, his belt which includes holsters for his hand held pistols. There, that rooster was humming that song he sang with Donald Duck and Jose Carioca, the theme of their gang, or in Spanish, "¡Ay, Jalisco, No Te Rajes!"
He wasn't the only one who was around these coastal grounds. There was also a small yet adorably purple panda with big gray irises. As cute as a plush toy, she is none other than Penny Ling from Littlest Pet Shop. She was hanging out with him since her dear friend (who happens to be a blue mongoose that does magic tricks), Sunil Nevla, told her about him. She also recalls the time she meets Jose Carioca, who is with a quartet with Eddy, Sargeant Tibs, and Jimmy Neutron. And since Panchito looks lean and atheletic, she is so interested into going to some beach.
So what goes on there, around Acapulco, Penny Ling was laying on a sunny yellow blanket while having her sunshades protecting her from the hot sun. Looking so fabulous that way, all that matters to her was that she is enjoying this climate in the Estados Unidos Mexicanos (United Mexican States). "How wonderful this place is," she sighed, all loose and happy.

Just before she knew, she hears a familiar holler of a very excited rooster. She lifts her sunglasses and peers over on the side from sitting up. There was Panchito, zooming his way towards her like an incoming Mexican express. By he skids on his feet without making a wave of sand or dust to spread all over the small panda. He has a sealed plastic cup with a purple straw, responding in Spanish, "Limonada?"

"Limo-what-now-da?" Penny questions, not understanding his language.

"Lemonade?" the friendly rooster translated happily.

"Oh, I get it," she chuckled nervously after getting on what he means. "Yes, thank you,"

Panchito sets the drink down near Penny for her to reach and get for herself. When she was sipping up the wonderful, savory flavor, the rooster replies, "So how are you enjoying Acapulco Beach?" "Oh, it's so lovely and sunny as summer coming in early!" Penny smiled as she answered. "Aw, y lo bonito que es , Penny? (Aw, and how lovely it is, Penny?)" Panchito calls back. "There are so many things that are lovely. Like the ladies around here, the rivels of the ocean, and the wind that just caresses your hair like so."

"I believe you, Panchito," she replies with a cute titter.

"Now, if you excuse me, I got to go and check to see if everyone is okay around here," Before he gets on his feet, "I decide to have a job as a lifeguard this summer!" And out he goes.

"A life guard?" she likes the way this rooster thinks. The way how he runs, the way how his spped is, he is quite a perfect fit for that kind of job. "Huh....that sounds really brave of him just thinking about it." She then has her mind on her lemonade for the next second. She chuckles and sips her drink.

As 3 minutes of relaxing and drinking, she was beginning to fall asleep when all of the sudden, something happened. A fluttering plastic bag was being tumbled by the carrying wind. It was hovering towards the resting panda. When it lays on her with a slap, it startles her. Getting up with a jump, she spills her lemonade and begins to shriek. "EEK! A GHOST! SOMEBODY! HELP ME!"

With her best to get that thing off by waving her arms around, she automatically walks without watching out where she is going. Heading towards the tides, she still struggles to get the bag out. Just then, when she manages to get the bag off her face, the holds of the bag were caught around her arms like a parachute. In a second, the wind blow very strongly. The wind's force even made the bag big as it blows Penny into the sky.

"AIIIEEE!" she yelled while being lifted in a very high sky. Since the bag was no longer on her face, she notices that she is so dang high. Her eyes widened with fright as acrophobia begins to cover her up. She then tries to hang onto the bag instead of removing it off of her armpits. But sadly, she realizes that the wind has weakened. With notmuch air being blown inside the bag, she begins to fall down towards the watery pavement. Shrieking all the way done, she falls onto the water. The saddest fact is that she was never a good swimmer.

Swimming like a panicking duck, she kicks and punches the water, shrieking for help. From that, all the others that are relaxing and playing on the beach heard those calls of distress. They also spot the splashing far from the distance. All of the sudden, everyone, even those who speak Spanish, begin to mutter worriedly...

"¿Qué es eso que salpica por allá?" (What is that splashing over there?)

"Alguien por ahí se está ahogando ! Obtén ayuda !" (Someone out there is drowning! Get help!)

"¿Dónde está la ayuda cuando lo necesitas ?" (Where's help when you need one?)

From all that going on, Panchito notices the crowd looking oversea. He turns to where they are lookign at. Squinting with all his might, he peers over until he spots something splashing far from there. He reacts by yelling, "Ay caramba!" He knew what needs to be done. So he removes his vest and spins himself around. In a flash, he was wearing green swimming trunks. That was then, he gets into a Go-Get-Em position and sprints away.

Zooming like a speeding tire, he quickly converts into a diving position and crashes into the water. Stroking as fast as he can, he notices that Penny couldn't keep up being on the surface. She begins to wear out and sinks into the water. Panchito stops when he is near the area where bubbles were coming out. He inhales, plugged his nose on his beak, dives deep down below.

Everybody watches, hoping that those two would be able to make it. Some of them hoped that the lifeguard, Panchito will be able to save whoever was out there. Just then, emerging from the water was him! He was carrying the unconscious panda with his left arm and swims with his right arm. Everyone begins to mutter, wondering if that panda is alive.

When he manages to make it back shore, everyone stepped aside to make way. Panchito places the drowned panda onto the blanket she was on before. Placing on her back, he places his head on her chest to hear any sound. No heartbeat, he sweats muttering in Spanish, "Oh , por favor, no salir a mí. (Oh, please don't go out on me." He then places both his hands on her chest and presses hard to make her breathe. With that, still no sound. Everyone was beginning to be just as worried as he is. "Oh, son of a gun...." he mutters again, even more worried than before.

Just then, he felt like there is only one thing left to do: CPR (CardioPulmonary Resuscitation). So he takes a deep breath and places his beak to Penny's mouth and does the job. After doing it a couple of time, Penny's eyes lifted. She then jerks up and coughs. She breaths like she was hyperventilating until she calmly breathes.

Everyone all of the sudden cheered. Penny looks around, wondering what's going on. Just then, she felt like someone was grabbing her and taking her away. It was Panchito, who was hugging her. Smiling broadly, he replies merrily, "Gracias a Dios, you're alright, amiga!" Penny scratches her head, feeling a bit dizzy.

"What just happened...?" she questions.

"I revived you by doing it mouth to mouth," Panchito answered.

Penny blushed. She doesn't like the idea of it, but at the same time, she understands why. She did felt like she was trapped into her mental void while unable to breathe. That was then, Panchito questioned, "How on earth did you manage to swim over there!?"

"It wasn't my fault," Penny begins to explain, blushing with embarassment. "A bag caught me and the wind blew me up high until I fall down. I was so scared." She whimpers, holding onto Panchito. He chuckles warmly as he hugs her back.

It was all of the sudden, she has some fuzzy feeling. Looking up at that smiling rooster, she feels like she's being cared of. More than being cared, more of being loved. And that mouth to mouth routine made her think that it was more than a way of rescuing her. It was like a kiss of life. She then begins to think that she is falling in love with Panchito...

- The End -

After the previous story I did with Ayla Sozundendonmez aka Ay6 :iconay6: on Penny Ling from Hasbro's LITTLEST PET SHOP (LSP), I felt like another idea just came up. I don't usually came up any pairings or all that, but for some odd reason, I was thinking of her being with Panchito Pistoles, one of the members of the 3 Caballeros from Disney. That was then, I felt like they're a nice couple. So I wrote away on it.

Feeling close to Ay6's world, I decide to do the story in her universe. I sure hope Ay6 loves it. I even hope one of you crossover fans love this new pairing I just invented (yet seem to like oddly). I think this is the first I came up this couple: Penny Ling and Panchito Pistoles aka. Panchenny / Lingchito / Pennchito.

In fact when I shared this idea to :iconay6:, her reaction was this: "Whaaaat....OMG,Josiah...that was an awesome idea....but Penny Ling in love with Panchito...it's impossible.....'

Summary: Penny Ling and Panchito Pistoles are in Acapulco Beach (which was mentioned in the 3 Caballeros. Panchito was a lifeguard this summer and he was making sure that his dear friend, Penny was having a good time. Just when she was relaxing, a bag caught her and sends her to the ocean. Panchito then comes to the rescue and saves her. Trying to revive her, he does the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which finally brings her back. To Penny, not only did she feel pleased that Panchito saved her, but that felt like a kiss when he did the mouth to mouth treatment.
