CHAPPY AND MARIO Cast Sheet

A cast sheet for my characters of my renewed cartoon from my first cartoon in my life as a cartoonist: CHAPPY & MARIO™…

AND….I declared that APRIL 4th shall be the day that CHAPPY & MARIO were created back in 2004, with my hypothesis since I had that feeling that was somewhere around April 2004! So that would mean that the new, renewed cartoon and third generation of this on APRIL 4th, 2014…

This presents the height of the characters….

And not to mention some slight info on the toons and toonettes:

• Chaplin “Chappy” Cat: a 5ft gray cat who is supposed to be the predator of Mario since he’s a cat. He is somehow suspicious of Mario for he used to do some tricks on him back when they were first created! He is somehow an independent, reluctant, and sometimes curious. He gets fooled pretty easily, but he is still smart on his smarts. Back then, he used to chase him around until he quit, due to the modern thinking about the CAT-AND-MOUSE gag/stereotypes (Cats are bad guys and are dopes on their own traps), which same with Mario Mouse. Tha would mean that people nowadays are having sympathy for cats. When it comes to animation of today, he seems to be so depressed that he thinks that classic cartoons like him and Mario are going obsolete. In spite that he doesn’t ate or chase mice as he used, he is still a stereotypical cat! There might be some chances that he might prey again

• Mario Mouse: A 1½ to 2ft light brown mouse who happens to be the one that somehow makes Chappy’s life a huge stick in the mud. He is supposed to be a prey. Mario somehow quite making Chappy’s life miserable, because of the modern thinking on the CAT-AND-MOUSE gag/stereotype (Mice are smart and daring yet bold heroes that are very clever on their actions to get out of trouble), same with Chappy Cat. This means that people nowadays are starting to find mice as the biggest jerk and horrible messengers of trouble. Because of animation of today, Mario is usually optimistic on finding a way how to run a classic cartoon in this brave, new world! He now is tries to comfort the poor cat about the media and society of today! He is actually a stereotypical mouse for he actually enjoys cheese (unlike how the Mouse Brothers: Marvin, Mike, & Mel Mouse in some cases). And he somehow still has some chances to upset or pest poor Chappy.

• Salina (or Sidra) Squirrel: a nearly or middle-aged, 3ft light brown squirrel who happens to be a business manager and a cartoon businesswoman. In spite of her smoking habits, she sure loves cartoons that are mostly like back at her time as a young girl. Her cranky, serious, yet prosperous female is somehow the boss of Chappy Cat and Mario Mouse; not to mention, a dear friend to them as well since they are all into classic cartoons. To modern day standards, her business manages to survive through the Economic Crisis since she runs things everything as if she was in Hollywood. She manages to help out Chappy & Mario in their needs and their careers. Even if she loves nuts, she somehow enjoys all the dough and money, but she avoids herself from getting corrupted from such greed on businesses. She even tries her best to regain her youth; luckily toons don’t have any much record on their ages.

• Blato Cat and Donna Dog : 4.5ft residents of Inkblotville that are next to Toontown. Blato is a handome yet happy big cat while Donna is a jolly yet strong dog! Sadly, because that rubberhose format is no longer around in the modern world, they are suffering from such loss by the shifting society. They are dear friends of Chappy, Mario, and the others from Toontown! (Hopefully I will come up a better personality on those two.)

• Samantha (or Samuela) “Sam” Squirrel: a 3ft pink squirrel who always fumbles into Chappy & Mario’s situation. A nearly Southern, skating-for-hobby, somehow chubby, screwball type who lives on in the world under Chappy & Mario’s gloves. She really loves the things of modern standards like technology and some handsome boys. She is kinda like a bumbling coward, but she is really a courageous toonette.

I still need to figure out more on the characters and the cartoon idea, but this is why this is considered as more of my own concepts for my new generation on this cartoon idea.
